Client Support Analyst  

Location: Birmingham, Alabama

Description:

The Client Support Analyst will be the primary business support and impact analyst for global clients from all sectors of the financial industry including banking, broker/dealer, asset management, hedge fund and custody. This role requires the individual to become an XSP product subject matter expert with respect to global Corporate Actions for tracking, executing and processing. Limited travel is required.

This is an entry-junior level, high profile position that requires the individual to interact extensively with the client for ongoing operational support and continued integration of the XSP global Corporate Actions software within their environment. Ideal candidates must possess strong problem-solving skills, high degree of ownership and initiative. You must be resourceful, proactive and diligent in managing multiple projects in a client-facing, team-oriented environment. Global Corporate Actions Implementation Manager  

Location: Birmingham, AL or New York, NY

The Global Corporate Actions Implementation Manager will be the primary business support and system impact analyst for global clients from all sectors of the financial industry including banking, broker/dealer, asset management, hedge fund and custody.  This role requires the individual to have previous experience with Global Corporate Actions for tracking, executing and processing and become an XSP product subject matter expert with respect to business process flows and software implementation engagements. Travel is required.

Project Manager  

Location: Birmingham, Alabama or New York, NY

Description

The Project Manager’s primary purpose is to plan and manage the delivery of business systems solutions and associated application technical support services in support of business objectives and ongoing operations. This includes systems and project planning, estimating, execution, implementation and ongoing support. Individual will work closely with the functional business groups to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of systems solutions deployed in support of business goals and objectives. The position will also be responsible for application staff development and technology vendor relationship management.

This position is a senior role expected to produce above average results. This position requires the individual to reflect the utmost confidence, professionalism and credibility both within the organization, as well as when dealing directly with clients. Direct communication with the client is essential when deemed required. As with any job role within the XSP organization, this position requires the individual to adhere to company and departmental policies and procedures including all policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook, as well as any departmental policies and procedures.

This position requires the individual to interact with the following personnel: XSP Product Managers, XSP Developers/Architects/Engineers, XSP Client Administrators, and XSP Clients. This position may be required to directly supervise personnel in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

The job requires limited travel and can be based in Birmingham, AL or New York, NY USA.

This role reports to the Senior Director, Product Innovation as part of the Information Technology organization.

Quality Assurance Analyst  

Location: Birmingham, AL

Description:

This is a high profile position with primary responsibility to apply Quality Assurance Methodologies for delivering enterprise wide automated software solutions for the Global Financial Industry. The XSP application is the market leader for global corporate action and income processing with a worldwide client base ranging from investment managers, banks, broker/dealers, custodians, and hedge funds. The XSP solution is a leading edge software that eliminates the need for manual processing.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute sound testing methodologies in the form of unit testing, integration testing, system testing, performance testing, regression testing, and acceptance testing
  • Prepare use case definition and design test scripts, both automated and manual for use within the test strategies.
  • Identify, track and report application defects in accordance with functional and detail design specifications.
  • Collaborate with IT peers and other business stakeholders to analyze application performance and required benchmarks.
  • Participate in structured walkthroughs and technical reviews:
  • Assist systems administration teams in the installation and implementation of business applications and in systems planning and monitoring

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in quality assurance, testing, development, databases, or other related areas with at least 6 months experience in quality assurance or testing.
  • Previous Experience with Automated Testing Tools: Quick Test Professional, Load Runner or Quality Center
  • Previous experience or knowledge of global corporate actions for tracking, executing, and processing. Security Identifier Cross Reference, Income Collection, Tax Reclaim and SWIFT experience is a major plus.
  • Understanding of basic project management techniques; working knowledge of structured design, development, and implementation of new computing architectures.
  • Experience as a team member on projects while working in a cross-functional team environment.

Senior Product Manager  

Location: Birmingham, AL or New York, NY

Description:

The Senior Product Manager will be the primary subject matter expert (SME) for XSP Operations. The position requires the individual to become an XSP product subject matter expert with respect to global corporate actions for tracking, executing, and processing. Security Identifier Cross Reference, Income Collection, Election/Response Processing, Settlement/Reconciliation, Tax Reclaim and SWIFT experience is a major plus.

Senior Product Managers are primarily responsible for designing the major systems of the XSP product, modifying these systems to improve production or work flow, or expanding these systems to serve new purposes. In addition, Senior Product Managers provide subject matter expertise to the Client Support Analysts for priority client issues related to production, implementation, and/or upgrades.

Senior Product Managers evaluate business procedures and problems. This includes evaluating requirements with business experts and other specialists to determine the precise nature of the problem and to break it down into its component parts. After sufficient information has been collected, the Senior Product Manager prepares a representation of the new system in terms which the customer and/or business unit can understand (Use Cases, Activity Models, Process Flows, and UI Designs). Senior Product Managers consult with management throughout the design phase in order to confirm that the Senior Product Manager and management agree on the principles of the design. Senior Product Managers may also prepare analyses which present cost versus benefit as a result of implementing the proposed system changes.

Ideally, candidates will have direct experience in selling complex software solutions in a consultative sales environment to back and middle offices of financial services organizations in North America.
